North Carolina High School Basketball - South Guilford HomeSchool routs Surry HomeSchool

January 16, 2025: Mount Airy, NC

In Thursday's league contest, the visiting South Guilford HomeSchool Cougars basketball team scored a big 59-9 triumph over the Surry HomeSchool Runnin' Patriots.

The Cougars (23-1) will now prepare for their contest against NC Heat (Greensboro, NC). The Heat go into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, NC Heat was trounced by Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC), 43-36, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Runnin' Patriots battle the South Charlotte Thunder (Matthews, NC) in a North Carolina Home Education - West contest, on Friday, January 17. Surry HomeSchool will attempt to better on its 3-9 season record. The Thunder go into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 38-35 league win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC).
