Tabb Tigers (Yorktown, VA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA), 41-40 in a league match.
With the victory, Tabb advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Tigers host Poquoson (Poquoson, VA) to meet the Islanders in a Bay Rivers match on Tuesday, January 21. The Islanders enter the match with a record of 7-3. Poquoson won 43-37 in their recent league match against New Kent (New Kent, VA)
The Lions now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bruton for a Bay Rivers match on Tuesday, January 21. Warhill will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 56-34 league loss to Lafayette (Williamsburg, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.
