North Carolina High School Basketball - Thales Academy Rolesville nips Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill

The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Thales Academy Rolesville Knights (Rolesville, NC) and the visiting Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion (Durham, NC), observed Thales Academy Rolesville's basketball team edge Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill by a margin of 31-26.

The Knights (10-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Neuse Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC). The Lions come into the NCISAA Raleigh Area challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Neuse Christian Academy edged Cristo Rey Research Triangle (Durham, NC), 51-21, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lion battle the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors (Raleigh, NC) in a NCISAA Raleigh Area challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Chancellors come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 53-37 league loss to Thales Academy Apex (Apex, NC).
