The Wessington Springs Spartans basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds to 38 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now have a 4-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sanborn Central/Woonsocket for a non-league game on Monday, January 20. Wessington Springs will confront a Rebels team coming off a 66-10 non-league win over James Valley Christian (Huron, SD). The Rebels record now stands at 8-3.

With the loss, Wolsey-Wessington falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Warbirds travel to James Valley Christian (Huron, SD) to confront the Vikings in a non-league game on Monday, January 20. The Vikings go into the game with a record of 0-7. James Valley Christian lost 66-10 in their recent non-league game against Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD)
