The Overlake Owls basketball team scored 25 points and limited the visiting Bear Creek Grizzlies to 20 in the Owls non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Owls now have a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to South Whidbey for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Overlake will confront a Falcons team coming off a 41-30 non-league loss to Sultan (Sultan, WA). The Falcons record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Bear Creek falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to University Prep (Seattle, WA) to confront the Pumas in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Pumas go into the game with a record of 0-2. University Prep lost 49-9 in their recent non-league game against Seattle Academy (Seattle, WA)
