With the victory, Folsom advances its record to 19-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to El Dorado (Placerville, CA) to face the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 11-7. El Dorado lost 33-25 in their recent league match against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA)

The Wildcats now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Granite Bay for a match on Tuesday, January 21. Whitney will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 32-23 non-league win over Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 8-10.
