The Edina Hornets ice hockey team scored 7 points and held the visiting Buffalo Bison to 1 in the Hornets non-league victory on Thursday.
The Hornets now own a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wayzata for a Lake bout on Saturday, January 18. Edina will encounter a Trojans team coming off a 4-3 league win over Edina (Edina, MN). The Trojans record now stands at 10-5.
With the defeat, Buffalo moves to 5-9 on the season. The Bison travel to Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Eden Prairie won 7-2 in their recent non-league bout against Prior Lake (Prior Lake, MN)
