In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Atkins Camels basketball team scored a big 46-20 triumph over the High Point Central Bison.
The Camels (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Rockingham County (Wentworth, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Rockingham County smashed High Point Central (High Point, NC), 62-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bison battle the Southern Guilford Storm (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. High Point Central will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Storm go into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 60-41 non-league loss to Dudley (Greensboro, NC).
