The High Point Academy Grizzlies basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Blacksburg Wildcats to 53 in the Grizzlies league triumph on Thursday.

The Grizzlies now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Greenville Hurricanes for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. High Point Academy will confront a Hurricanes team coming off a 47-33 non-league win over Bob Jones Academy (Greenville, SC). The Hurricanes record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Blacksburg falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Rock Hill (Rock Hill, SC) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 21. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 0-6. Rock Hill lost 66-23 in their recent non-league game against Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC)
