In Thursday's non-league test, the Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC), by a final score of 71-20.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 17. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Wolf Pack come into the test with a 4-6 record after their 56-25 non-league win over Anson (Wadesboro, NC).
The Cougars (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Redhawks come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record.
