The Hillcrest Rams basketball squad (Simpsonville, SC), was nudged 51-46 in Thursday's league battle with the host Mauldin Mavericks (Mauldin, SC)
With the victory, Mauldin advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Mavericks host Woodmont (Piedmont, SC) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Monday, January 20. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 7-3. Woodmont lost 40-38 in their recent league battle against Greenwood (Greenwood, SC)
The Rams now own a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Easley for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 22. Hillcrest will meet a Green Wave squad coming off a 50-40 non-league loss to T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC). The Green Wave record now stands at 4-5.
