The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs (San Jose, CA) soccer nipped the host Saint Francis Lancers (Mountain View, CA), 1-0 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Monarchs now hold a 7-0 record. They play next when they travel to Junipero Serra for a West Catholic challenge on Saturday, January 18. Archbishop Mitty will encounter a Padres squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, CA). The Padres record now stands at 6-3.
