In Thursday's league contest, the Ocean View Christian Patriots (San Diego, CA) soccer team edged the visiting Cristo Rey (San Diego, CA), by a tally of 3-2.

Next, the Patriots face the Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA) in a Frontier - Pioneer contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Ocean View Christian will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Redhawks enter the contest with a 7-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to High Tech Mesa (San Diego, CA).

The (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against River Valley (Lakeside, CA). The Leopards enter the Frontier - Pioneer contest with a 1-6 record.
