In Thursday's league contest, the Poly Bears (Riverside, CA) soccer team edged the host Hemet Bulldogs (Hemet, CA), by a count of 2-1.
Next, the Bears face the Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA) in a Ivy contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Poly will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 5-0 league loss to Valley View (Moreno Valley, CA).
The Bulldogs (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Paloma Valley (Menifee, CA). The Wildcats enter the Ivy contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Paloma Valley was nipped by Arlington (Riverside, CA), 6-0, in a league contest.
