Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper St. Clair holds off Central Catholic

In Friday's league contest, the host Upper St. Clair Panthers basketball team scored a close 48-47 triumph over the Central Catholic Vikings.
The Panthers (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Big Macs go into the WPIAL 6A 2 contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Canon-McMillan was tipped by Imani Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 55-53, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) in a WPIAL 6A 2 contest, on Tuesday, January 20. Central Catholic will attempt to better on its 13-2 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 10-5 record after their 64-53 league loss to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA).
