Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Monterey Plainsmen (Lubbock, TX), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Plainview moves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Amarillo (Amarillo, TX) to confront the Sandies in a 5A Region 1 District 3 test on Tuesday, January 20. The Sandies come into the test with a record of 4-2. Amarillo won 5-0 in their recent league test against Coronado (Lubbock, TX)

The Plainsmen now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caprock for a 5A Region 1 District 3 test on Tuesday, January 20. Monterey will play a Longhorns squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Tascosa (Amarillo, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-0.
