Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Ashley Bears (Ashley, MI), 81-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Coleman upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Comets travel to Farwell (Farwell, MI) to play the Eagles in a Jack Pine bout on Wednesday, January 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-8.

Next up, the Bears play the St. Charles Bulldogs (St. Charles, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Thursday, January 20. Ashley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 59-44 league loss to Montabella (Blanchard, MI).
