In Monday's league outing, the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles (Rockaway, NJ) basketball squad felled the host Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), by a margin of 43-35.
The Golden Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against West Morris Mendham (Mendham, NJ). The Minutemen go into the Northwest Jersey - National outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, West Morris Mendham thwarted Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ), 42-37, in a non-league outing.
The Gaels now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Mount Olive for a Northwest Jersey - National outing on Friday, January 21.
