Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) and the visiting Central Kitsap Cougars (Silverdale, WA), saw North Thurston's basketball squad hold off Central Kitsap by a count of 49-45.

With the victory, North Thurston upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Rams host Capital (Olympia, WA) to play the Cougars in a challenge on Wednesday, January 19. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Capital won 54-35 in their recent league challenge against River Ridge (Lacey, WA)

Next up, the Cougars play the North Thurston Rams (Lacey, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 21. Central Kitsap will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
