North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC), 85-37 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Augusta upgrades its record to 20-0 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC) to play the Mustangs in a AAAA Region 4 bout on Friday, January 20. The Mustangs come into the bout with a record of 13-4. Midland Valley won 61-45 in their recent league bout against South Aiken (Aiken, SC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 20. Airport will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Shamrocks come into the battle with a 4-12 record after their 65-36 league loss to Keenan (Columbia, SC).
