Arizona High School Basketball - Poston Butte knocked off by American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North

The American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and held the host Poston Butte Broncos to 62 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arizona College Prep for a 4A East Sky contest on Thursday, January 19. American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North will meet a Knights team coming off a 58-50 league win over Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 15-7.

The Broncos (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Eastmark (Mesa, AZ). The Firebirds enter the 4A East Sky contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Eastmark ran past American Leadership Academy (Queen Creek, AZ), 71-63, in a league contest.
