The Algona Bulldogs basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Hampton-Dumont/CAL to 50 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Tuesday.
With the win, Algona upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA) to play the Indians in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 19. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Pocahontas lost 85-49 in their recent non-league bout against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA)
Next up, the play the Clear Lake Lions (Clear Lake, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 20. Hampton-Dumont/CAL will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 9-3 record after their 54-47 league win over Webster City (Webster City, IA).
