Allentown Redbirds (Allentown, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hightstown Rams (Hightstown, NJ), 51-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Allentown upgrades its record to 6-8 on the season. The Redbirds host Freehold Township (Freehold, NJ) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Freehold Township won 60-46 in their recent non-league bout against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ)

Next up, the Rams play the Princeton Day Panthers (Princeton, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Hightstown will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 50-42 non-league win over Hopewell Valley Central (Pennington, NJ).
