Alabama High School Basketball - Westminster School at Oak Mountain topped by Altamont

The Altamont Knights basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Westminster School at Oak Mountain Knights to 50 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cornerstone for a 2A Area 8 contest on Thursday, January 19. Altamont will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-57 non-league win over Gardendale (Gardendale, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 13-8.
The Knights (2-14) will now prepare for their contest against Holy Family Catholic (Birmingham, AL). The Tornadoes come into the 2A Area 8 contest with a 3-17 record. In their last contest, Holy Family Catholic was defeated by Indian Springs (Pelham, AL), 71-50, in a non-league contest.
