The Amherst Central Tigers basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the host West Seneca East Trojans to 55 in the Tigers league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamsville South for a Section 6 Erie County II contest on Friday, January 20. Amherst Central will battle a Billies team coming off a 60-53 league win over Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Billies record now stands at 8-2.

The Trojans (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Starpoint (Lockport, NY). The Spartans come into the Section 6 Erie County II contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Starpoint triumphed over Sweet Home (Amherst, NY), 63-53, in a league contest.
