In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Anahuac Panthers basketball team scored a tight 57-56 triumph over the Buna Cougars.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Hardin Hornets (Hardin, TX) in a 3A Region III District 22 match, on Friday, January 20. Anahuac will attempt to better on its 13-12 season record. The Hornets enter the match with a 3-16 record after their 74-29 league loss to East Chambers (Winnie, TX).
