The Andrews Mustangs basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Pecos Eagles to 36 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Stockton for a 4A Region I District 3 contest on Friday, January 20. Andrews will meet a Panthers team coming off a 59-43 league loss to Monahans (Monahans, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-12.

The Eagles (7-16) will now prepare for their contest against Greenwood (Midland, TX). The Rangers enter the 4A Region I District 3 contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Greenwood was outscored by Seminole (Seminole, TX), 37-36, in a league contest.
