California High School Basketball - Burroughs can't hold off Apple Valley

The Apple Valley Sun Devils basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Burroughs Burros to 69 in the Sun Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
The Sun Devils now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sultana for a Mojave River contest on Thursday, January 19. Apple Valley will battle a Sultans team coming off a 76-31 league loss to Hesperia (Hesperia, CA). The Sultans record now stands at 5-11.
The Burros (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Serrano (Phelan, CA). The Diamondbacks enter the Mojave River contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Serrano was nudged by Oak Hills (Hesperia, CA), 78-34, in a league contest.
