The Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) basketball nipped the visiting Arkadelphia Badgers (Arkadelphia, AR), 51-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Malvern (Malvern, AR). The Leopards go into the 4A Region 7 test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Malvern was tipped by Camden Fairview (Camden, AR), 50-37, in a league test.
The Badgers now own a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Nashville for a 4A Region 7 test on Saturday, January 21. Arkadelphia will encounter a Scrappers squad coming off a 55-40 league win over Malvern (Malvern, AR). The Scrappers record now stands at 3-2.
