The Austin Catholic Crusaders (Chesterfield, MI) basketball nipped the host Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit Jaguars (West Bloomfield, MI), 56-53 in Tuesday's league test.

The Crusaders (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Detroit Cristo Rey (Detroit, MI). The WOLVES go into the Catholic Intersectional II test with a 4-4 record.

The Jaguars now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Huron Valley Lutheran for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 18. Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 50-30 non-league loss to Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Hawks record now stands at 2-6.
