The Baxter basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting BCLUW Comets to 54 in the non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madrid for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Baxter will battle a Tigers team coming off a 75-39 league win over Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA). The Tigers record now stands at 10-3.

The Comets (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against GMG (Garwin, IA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, GMG ran past North Tama (Traer, IA), 67-50, in a league contest.
