Spanish Fort Toros (Spanish Fort, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Bayside Academy Admirals (Daphne, AL), 83-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Spanish Fort upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Toros travel to Baldwin County (Bay Minette, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a 6A Area 2 bout on Friday, January 20. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-11. Baldwin County lost 78-39 in their recent league bout against McGill-Toolen (Mobile, AL)

Next up, the Admirals clash with the UMS-Wright Prep Bulldogs (Mobile, AL) in a 4A Area 1 bout, on Friday, January 20. Bayside Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 14-10 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to Williamson (Mobile, AL).
