The Saint Viator Lions basketball team (Arlington Heights, IL), was toppled 61-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL)
The Redwings now possess a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmel for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Friday, January 20. Benet Academy will confront a Corsairs team coming off a 54-43 league loss to Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 8-15.
The Lions (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Morgan Park (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 7-14 record. In their last battle, Morgan Park was toppled by Brooks (Chicago, IL), 81-46, in a league battle.
