In Tuesday's league outing, the Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Biggsville West Central Heat (Biggsville, IL), by a count of 42-41.

The Rebels (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against ROWVA/Williamsfield (Oneida, IL). The Cougars go into the Lincoln Trail outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, ROWVA/Williamsfield held off Wethersfield (Kewanee, IL), 78-75, in a league outing.

The Heat now hold a 2-17 record. They play next when they host Princeville for a Lincoln Trail outing on Friday, January 20.
