The Forest City Foresters basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Blue Ridge Raiders to 58 in the Foresters league triumph on Tuesday.

The Foresters now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montrose for a Lackawanna 4 contest on Friday, January 20. Forest City will meet a Meteors team coming off a 56-43 league win over Elk Lake (Dimock, PA). The Meteors record now stands at 4-7.

The Raiders (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Taylor, PA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Riverside was edged by Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 61-38, in a league bout.
