In Tuesday's league outing, the Blytheville Chickasaws (Blytheville, AR) basketball squad beat the visiting Brookland Bearcats (Brookland, AR), by a count of 56-47.
The Chickasaws (21-0) will now prepare for their outing against Westside (Jonesboro, AR). The Warriors go into the 4A Region 3 outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Westside was topped by Wynne (Wynne, AR), 63-61, in a league outing.
The Bearcats now hold a 11-4 record. They play next when they host Forrest City for a 4A Region 3 outing on Saturday, January 21. Brookland will clash with a Mustangs squad coming off a 66-56 league loss to Blytheville (Blytheville, AR). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-10.
