Woodbine Tigers (Woodbine, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA), 61-57 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Woodbine upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Tigers host Coon Rapids-Bayard (Coon Rapids, IA) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 20. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Coon Rapids-Bayard lost 64-22 in their recent non-league bout against West Harrison (Mondamin, IA)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 19. Boyer Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 59-35 league win over Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA).
