Texas High School Basketball - Jasper knocked off by Bridge City

The Bridge City Cardinals basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Jasper Bulldogs to 38 in the Cardinals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 16-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Orange-Stark for a 4A Region III District 19 match on Friday, January 20. Bridge City will face a Mustangs team coming off a 81-51 league loss to Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-17.
With the defeat, Jasper moves to 12-7 on the year. The Bulldogs host Vidor (Vidor, TX) to face the Pirates in a 4A Region III District 19 match on Friday, January 20. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 15-13. Vidor lost 63-53 in their recent league match against Lumberton (Lumberton, TX)
