In Tuesday's league outing, the Brighter Horizons Academy (Garland, TX) basketball squad edged the host Grace Community Cougars (Tyler, TX), by a count of 51-46.
The (7-12) will now prepare for their outing against Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX). The Lions go into the TAPPS 5A District 2 outing with a 21-10 record. In their last outing, Grapevine Faith Christian held off Coram Deo Academy (Flower Mound, TX), 62-57, in a league outing.
The Cougars now hold a 21-10 record. They play next when they travel to Legacy Christian Academy for a TAPPS 5A District 2 outing on Friday, January 20. Grace Community will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 82-23 league win over Cristo Rey Dallas College Prep (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 25-7.
