The Round Top-Carmine Cubs (Carmine, TX) basketball nipped the host Buckholts Badgers (Buckholts, TX), 2-0 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cubs (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Calvert (Calvert, TX). The Trojans go into the 1A Region IV District 29 test with a 9-14 record. In their last test, Calvert got by McDade (McDade, TX), 78-21, in a league test.
