The Hoover Tornados basketball team (Glendale, CA), was nudged 64-59 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Burroughs Bears (Burbank, CA)
The Bears now possess a 9-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muir for a Pacific battle on Friday, January 20. Burroughs will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 69-68 league loss to Burbank (Burbank, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-11.
The Tornados (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Falcons come into the Pacific contest with a 18-4 record. In their last contest, Crescenta Valley was nudged by Pasadena (Pasadena, CA), 49-40, in a league contest.
