The Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans (Bushnell, IL) basketball knocked off the host West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL), 63-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (15-7) will now prepare for their test against Havana (Havana, IL). The Ducks go into the Prairieland test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Havana notched a victory over Illini Central (Mason City, IL), 43-37, in a non-league test.
The Cyclones now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they travel to Peoria Heights for a Prairieland test on Friday, January 20. West Prairie will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 57-37 league loss to Farmington (Farmington, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 5-14.
