Georgia High School Basketball - Quitman County trounced by Calhoun County

The Calhoun County Cougars routed the host Quitman County Hornets basketball team by a tally of 76-39 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Cougars now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pataula Charter Academy for a A D2 Region 1A battle on Friday, January 20. Calhoun County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 72-20 league loss to Mitchell County (Camilla, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-12.
The Hornets (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA). The Indians come into the A D2 Region 1B battle with a 12-5 record. In their last battle, Seminole County trounced Stewart County (Lumpkin, GA), 60-36, in a league battle.
