Camden Fairview Cardinals (Camden, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Malvern Leopards (Malvern, AR), 50-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Camden Fairview upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Cardinals travel to De Queen (De Queen, AR) to clash with the Leopards in a 4A Region 7 bout on Friday, January 20. The Leopards go into the bout with a record of 3-5. De Queen lost 63-41 in their recent league bout against Hope (Hope, AR)

Next up, the Leopards clash with the Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR) in a 4A Region 7 bout, on Saturday, January 21. Malvern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 51-47 league win over Arkadelphia (Arkadelphia, AR).
