Spearman Lynx (Spearman, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX), 55-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Spearman upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Lynx travel to Tulia (Tulia, TX) to clash with the Hornets in a 3A Region I District 1 bout on Friday, January 20. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Tulia lost 65-32 in their recent league bout against River Road (Amarillo, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the River Road Wildcats (Amarillo, TX) in a 3A Region I District 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Canadian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
