With the victory, Canton improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS) to confront the Jaguars in a 5A Region 3 challenge on Saturday, January 21. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 9-8. Holmes County Central won 55-49 in their recent league challenge against Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS)

Next up, the Rockets confront the Ridgeland Titans (Ridgeland, MS) in a 5A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, January 20. Neshoba Central will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 14-8 record after their 49-43 non-league win over Cleveland Central (Cleveland, MS).
