North Carolina High School Basketball - Carson fells South Rowan

Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), 65-48 in a league bout.
With the win, Carson upgrades its record to 8-8 on the season. The Cougars host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to clash with the Falcons in a 3A Conference 48 bout on Friday, January 20. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 9-6. West Rowan won 69-62 in their recent non-league bout against North Rowan (Spencer, NC)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a 3A Conference 48 bout, on Friday, January 20. South Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 53-46 league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).
