Beatty Rangers (Cassopolis, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Comstock Colts (Kalamazoo, MI), 71-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Beatty upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Rangers travel to White Pigeon (White Pigeon, MI) to play the Chiefs in a Southwest 10 bout on Thursday, January 19. The Chiefs go into the bout with a record of 4-5. White Pigeon won 49-47 in their recent league bout against Decatur (Decatur, MI)

Next up, the Colts play the Bangor Vikings (Bangor, MI) in a Southwest 10 bout, on Thursday, January 19. Comstock will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 67-28 league loss to Centreville (Centreville, MI).
