The Cedar Creek Pirates basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Vineland Fighting Clan to 48 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Millville for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Cedar Creek will meet a Thunderbolts team coming off a 51-49 non-league loss to Atlantic City (Atlantic City, NJ). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 8-4.
The Fighting Clan (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Lower Cape May ran past Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ), 82-47, in a league contest.
