The Longmeadow Lancers basketball team (Longmeadow, MA), was nudged 58-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Central Golden Eagles (Springfield, MA)
The Golden Eagles now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chicopee for a Valley battle on Thursday, January 19. Central will battle a Pacers team coming off a 61-59 league loss to Westfield (Westfield, MA). The Pacers record now stands at 2-6.
The Lancers (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Paulo Freire Social Justice Charter School (Holyoke, MA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record.
